Turns out those hilarious rumors about the M. Wells team opening a steakhouse inside a catamaran factory in Long Island City are true. Chef Hugue Dufour tells a Canadian radio station that he is indeed going forward with the plan, noting that “To build a boat while you’re creating menus, I think it’s beautiful.” Meanwhile, most of his food at MoMa’s PS1 will be made sous vide (there’s no gas), and there will be a roe bar.
