Zagat (rhymes with cat!) recommends Pig: A Restaurant (rhymes with returns to UCB at 9:30pm on Wednesday, December 21!).
Do you think that locally source swine is like, totally hilarious? Well, we’ve been hearing some good buzz about Pig: The Restaurant, a show by Leila Cohan-Miccio that is running tonight and December 21 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater (you can get tickets and details here). Cohan-Miccio should know a thing or two about the foodie world that she is lampooning - she used to be the editor of Grub Street. Her star, Lauren Conlin Adams has also had her share of restaurant experience, having worked in restaurants like DB Bistro and Balthazar. The show sends up all of the current trends, from celeb chefs to bacon mania and Gael Greene. Ok, she’s not really a trend, but you know what we mean. Tickets are $5.
